in retrospect

given my love for ramen, i doubt i’ll go hungry in japan.

but i would miss the feeling of walking into miharu every fortnight. the little ramen shop that is so cosy, of which the staff ensure that all your needs are tended to- including giving you the seat you want (but you may have to wait of course). Staff speaks a variety of languages- Japanese, Chinese, English- so there’s no way things will get lost in translation whilst explaining the menu.

definitely a thumbs up compared to the lack of quality service at the liang court family restaurant, whose staff thinks that working in a Japanese restaurant warrants them to practice double standards i.e.: be extremely nice to caucasian and japanese diners, and provide slipshod service to Singaporean patrons.
